Confirmations/Receptions

Bring & Share Lunch
Following the Confirmation/Reception Service on Sunday 5 July we are planning to have a Bring & Share Lunch in the hall to celebrate. We would love to hear from someone in the congregation who would be willing to co-ordinate the lunch and to draw together a small team to stage it. Please speak to me as soon as possible to let me know if you would like to take this responsibility on. Thank you.
Tin Can Collection for Ukraine
In addition to our 6 other congregational collections in support of excellent charities Vestry has agreed to support a further collection for an equally excellent cause – Ukraine. In conjunction with St Nicholas Parish Church we would like to ask you to save and bring in used, cleaned and de-labelled tin cans and pop them in the box in the Memorial Chapel. These will be collected by Isobel Malcolm and taken to St Nicholas, where they will be sent to Ukraine to be turned into candle holding heaters for Ukrainians who find themselves homeless and cold as a result of the ongoing war with Russia.
Our Current Away Giving Campaign.
In this quarter of the year we are collecting money for Water Aid.
Broth & Blether
Our Curate Jackie has left a new Broth & Blether soup rota on the table at the back of the church. If you’d like to contribute to this very successful outreach project at The Blue Triangle please add your name to the sign up sheet. Thank you in advance.
