Vestry Meeting
At the special request of Danny Craig, our Property Convener, I have rescheduled the Vestry meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday 24 June, to Thursday 25 June at 6 pm on zoom. This is so that we can give maximum time for the collection of information on the success of our net zero projects grant applications.
Bring & Share Lunch
Following the Confirmation/Reception Service on Sunday 5 July we are planning to have a celebration lunch in the hall to celebrate. We are looking for specific donations of food etc for the event. Please take a look at the sheet at the back of the church to see what is needed. Also, if you are intending to be at the lunch, please add your name to the attendance sheet, also on the table at the back.
Tin Can Collection for Ukraine
In addition to our 6 other congregational collections in support of excellent charities Vestry has agreed to support a further collection for an equally excellent cause – Ukraine. In conjunction with St Nicholas Parish Church we would like to ask you to save and bring in used, cleaned and de-labelled tin cans and pop them in the box in the Memorial Chapel. These will be collected by Isobel Malcolm and taken to St Nicholas, where they will be sent to Ukraine to be turned into candle holding heaters for Ukrainians who find themselves homeless and cold as a result of the ongoing war with Russia.
Our Current Away Giving Campaign.
In this quarter of the year we are collecting money for Water Aid.
Broth & Blether
Our Curate Jackie has left a new Broth & Blether soup rota on the table at the back of the church. If you’d like to contribute to this very successful outreach project at The Blue Triangle please add your name to the sign up sheet. Thank you in advance.
