At Lamington, teas and coffees will be served in the home of The Andersons in the village.  And at Lanark refreshments will be on offer in the hall. 

Presidents & Preachers

This Sunday Drew will preside and preside at Lamington. At Lanark Rob Thain will preach and preside from the Reserved Sacrament.

Away Giving Collection

As this Sunday is the last Sunday of the month, all our giving in the open plate will be ringfenced for our next Away Giving campaign in support of Water Aid.  Please come armed with some extra cash.

Memory Lane Coffee Morning

Our Dementia Support Group will be holding a fund-raising coffee morning in the church hall on Saturday 25 April from 10.30 am until 2 pm.  Cost to get in is £5.  For this there will be lashings of tea and coffee, a good spread of home baking, a tombola and lots of good company.  All for a good cause.  Please come along and support us. 

Memory Lane

Basking, we hope, in the success of our fund raising coffee morning on Saturday, we will have the fortnightly meeting of our group in the church hall on Wednesday (29 April) from 1 pm until 3 pm.  This week’s fun and games will be in the form of a musical quiz.

Vestry Meeting

The Vestry will meet on zoom at 6 pm on Wednesday 29 April.  

Away Giving Campaign Suggestions for 2026

Having raised the excellent sum of £500 for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal, we will devote the next three months to collecting for Water Aid.  After Water Aid two campaigns will remain – Social Bite and The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Prayer Tree

We now have a prayer tree in the church hall.  If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree.  Your prayer will be prayed for in church.

Private Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
