Services for the next two Sundays      

Sunday 9 July 2023 (Trinity 5) – 10.30 am – Sung Eucharist.

Sunday 16 July (Trinity 6) – 10.30 am – Sung Eucharist

After the Sung Eucharist teas and coffees will be served in the church hall.  All welcome.

Memory Lane

Wednesday 12 July.  Bus Trip to Ratho for Barge Sail.  Bus leaves Christ Church Hall at 10.30. Expected time of return 3.30. 

Autumn Ladies

Wednesday 19 July.  Topic for the meeting still to be decided.

Vestry Meeting

Wednesday 19 July at 6.30 pm.  This will replace the meeting cancelled on 28 June due to the Rector’s shingles.

Rector’s holiday

Oxfam Volunteers

The Oxfam shop at the top of Lanark High Street is looking for the following volunteers – stockroom organisers, sales assistants, online shopping co-ordinators.  If you think you would like to help with this, please pop into the shop for a chat with Amanda or apply online at www.oxfam.org.uk

Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.

Away Giving Recipients 2023 – 2024

Thanks to everyone who put forward possible recipients for our Away Giving this year.  Of the 8 recommendations received the following three were agreed:  The Maggie Centre, The Brain Tumour Charity and Stanmore House and School.
