“Soupa Sunday”
After the Sung Eucharist this Sunday we will be serving bowls of soup with crusty bread in the church hall. Please stay and join us, if you can. Remember to bring your own soup bowl and spoon. All welcome.

This Sunday Drew will preside and preach at 8.30 am. At 10.30 am Drew will preside and Rob Thain, our Lay Reader, will preach and lead us in intercession.

Away Giving
In the year ahead the remaining recipient of our Away Giving will be: Neuroendocrine Research.
Prayer Tree
We now have a prayer tree in the church hall. If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree. Your prayer will be prayed for in church.
Table Top Sale
We are holding a table top sale on Saturday 30 November from 10 am until 2 pm in the church hall to raise funds for Christ Church. If you are thinking of having a good old clear out before Christmas, why not take a table (cost £10) and make some money towards the cost of Christmas by what you sell. Invite your family and friends either to participate or to come along. If you’d like to help on the day, please speak to our Curate, Revd Jackie.
Autumn Ladies
The Ladies will have their Christmas Lunch this coming Wednesday starting at 1 pm. Following lunch there will be a craft event. If you are planning to be there, please bring an unopened bottle of wine/juice/water with you. This will become a Christmas decoration. This will be the last meeting of the year. Activities will resume on Wednesday 15 January 2025.
Brunch & Browse
Our fellowship and formation group will meet for the last session on “Journeying with Jesus” this Thursday from 12 noon until 1.15 pm. If you intend to attend, please add your name to the sign up sheet for catering purposes.
Lanarkshire Region Advent Carol Service
Our region of the Diocese is holding an Advent Carol Service on Sunday 8 December at 7.30pm in St Andrew’s Church in Uddingston. There will be a retiring collection for St Andrew’s Hospice. If you would like transport to the event, please speak to the Rector.
Christingle Service
This year’s Christingle will take place on Sunday 22 December at 6.30 pm in the church. Spread the word and let as many people know as possible.

Winter Concert
Lanark Choirs “Winter Concert” will be held in Greyfriars Church on Friday 6 December at 7.30 pm. Tickets are available from various congregational members – Sandra Burgon, Brian East, Anne Gray, Morag Hobbs, Barbara Waters, Ruth Webb and Jeannie Westgarth.
Prayer
When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
