New Daylight Bible Reading Materials

These are now available for collection from the back of the church. Please pay the cost to our curate, Jackie.

Blue Triangle Soup Kitchen

This is an exciting new initiative being spearheaded by Rev Jackie, Rev Liz and Vestry Member Ed Trevillion.  Each Monday (beginning Monday 28 April) from 12 until 1 pm they will serve soup, a roll and a cup of tea/coffee to the homeless in The Blue Triangle facility in The Wide Close. They would be delighted to receive donations of soup for this venture.  A sheet has been left on the table at the back of the church for interested parties to write down what they would like to contribute and when.  Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Autumn Ladies

The Ladies will have their fortnightly meeting on Wednesday from 2 pm until 4 pm in the church hall.  This week they will receive a talk from Catherine Prentice about Scott’s Jams.

Away Giving

Our collecting for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal in support of Refuweegies is now over.  The remaining three charities that we will support with our Away Giving in the course of the year are: Mary’s Meals, Street Level in Carluke and The Glasgow City Mission.  All very worthy causes.  Please give as generously as you can to help them to continue in their valuable work.
