Autumn Ladies
The Autum Ladies will be having a wee Christmas Social on the afternoon of the 6th of December. I will entertain the group with some music and Nick and Nell Broadbridge will lead a few dances. You are invited to participate or just to enjoy watching. There will also be a raffle. Our invite is extended to everyone to participate in an early celebration of Christmas. Our normal time – 2- 4 p.m.
Advent Quiet Space
The Revd Liz Clelland will lead us in an Advent Quiet Space on Saturday 9 December from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm. If you wish to attend, please add your name to the sign-up list on the table at the back of the church. All welcome.
Choir Practice
Tuesday, 6 pm, in the church. New voices always welcome.
Vestry Meeting
The Vestry will meet this coming Wednesday at 6 pm on Zoom.
Pastoral Care Team Meeting
The Pastoral Care Team will meet this Thursday (7 December) at 2 pm on zoom. Those of you who are working, please let me have your reports via email. Thank you.
Christmas Bauble Collection
If you’d like to donate a bauble for this year’s Christmas Tree, please deposit your contribution in the tissue paper lined box in the Memorial Chapel.
Jacket/Coat/Underwear Collection
If you have any spare jackets, coats and underwear that you would like to clear from your wardrobes, please leave them in the Memorial Chapel. They will be donated to Kindness Glasgow for distribution to the homeless.
Away Giving Recipients 2023 – 2024
Thanks to everyone who put forward possible recipients for our Away Giving this year. Of the 8 recommendations received the following three were agreed: The Maggie Centre, The Brain Tumour Charity and Stanmore House and School.
Prayer
When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
