Steward on duty at Christ Church Lanark

This Sunday the Steward on duty will be: Sheila Cardwell.

Away Giving

This Sunday, being the final Sunday of the month, all our giving in the open plate will be ringfenced for our final Away Giving Campaign of the year in support of Neuroendocrine Research. Please come armed with some extra cash and give as generously as you possibly can.

Away Giving in 2025

In addition to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal we will, once again next year, support another three charities with our Away Giving.  We are looking for suggestions of local, national or international “Christian” charities that we could support. Have a think and let the Rector know your ideas as soon as possible.  Vestry will take a vote on your requests at the next Vestry meeting on Wednesday 15 January.

Prayer Tree

We now have a prayer tree in the church hall.  If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree.  Your prayer will be prayed for in church.

Situation Vacant

We still have one vacancy to fill – that of Hall Convener.  If you would be interested in finding out more about the position, please speak to the Rector at your earliest convenience.

Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
