Harvest Offering
The Clydesdale Foodbank in Carluke has written to us to say a massive thank you for the easy-open, ring-pull tins and the £380 that we gave them from our harvest festival and last quarter of Away Giving. They are absolutely delighted and assure us that our generosity will help lots of needy people.

In the year ahead the remaining recipient of our Away Giving will be: Neuroendocrine Research.
Brunch & Browse
Our Study and Fellowship Group will meet in the church hall on Thursday from 12 noon until 1.15pm. The theme will be Prayer. If you are intending to attend, please add your name to the sign up sheet on the table at the back of the church for catering purposes.
Autumn Ladies
The Autumn Ladies will meet in the church hall this coming Wednesday from 2 pm until 4 pm. At this meeting a talk will be given by Danny McQuillan on Antiques.
AGM 2024
The Annual General Meeting of our congregation will take place after the Sung Eucharist, next Sunday, Sunday 27 October. Please check the Congregational Roll for errors/changes in your personal details. Please also sign the Photographic Exclusion Sheet if you do not wish photographs of yourself to appear in the magazine or online. We are also looking for one new Vestry Member. Nomination papers have been left beside the other paperwork.
Music in Lanark
Music in Lanark will hold their next concert in the church on Saturday 19 October. Please consult the brochure (in the porch and on the shelf at the back of the church) for details of forthcoming concerts.
Situations Vacant
At the moment we have one vacancy to fill – that of Hall Convener. If you would be interested in finding out more about the position, please speak to the Rector at your earliest convenience.
Prayer
When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
