This Sunday’s Services      

Sunday 14 May 2023 (Easter 6) – 10.30 am – Sung Eucharist.

After the Sung Eucharist teas and coffees will be served in the church hall.  All welcome.  

Preacher 

This Sunday Dr John Wilcox will preach.  Next Sunday it will be the turn of Bobby Burgon to share his reflections on the readings of the day.

Duty Rotas

On stewarding duty this Sunday is: Sheila Cardwell

Choir Practice

There will be no choir practice this coming Tuesday evening. 

Memory Lane

On Wednesday, from 1 pm till 3 pm, in the church hall, our Dementia Support Group will meet for beverages, cakes and a musical quiz. 

Warm Community Hub

Thursdays from 12 noon till 3 pm in the church hall.  Come along for a heat, some soup, good company and a chat.  Jackie, who has set the hub up, would love to hear from anybody in the congregation who would be willing to volunteer to help make the Hub work. She looks forward to hearing from you.

Regional Council

Lanarkshire Regional Council will meet at St Mary’s Church, Auchingramont Road, Hamilton at 7.30 pm on Wednesday. 

Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.

Away Giving Recipients 2023 – 2024

Thanks to everyone who put forward possible recipients for our Away Giving this year. Of the 8 recommendations received the following three were agreed:  The Maggie Centre, The Brain Tumour Charity and Stanmore House and School.
