Services at Christ Church
Sunday 12 April 2026 – 10.30 am – Sung Eucharist & Baptism of Hadi Ghadrian (Easter 2)
Apres Service Refreshments
Teas, coffees and a light lunch will be held in the hall after the Sung Eucharist to celebrate Hadi’s baptism.
President & Preacher
Drew will preside at the Baptism and the Sung Eucharist. The Revd Liz Clelland will preach.
Mothering Sunday Narcissi
Once you have enjoyed your Mothering Sunday Narcissi, Nic Broadbridge would be very grateful to receive any of the bulbs that are left over after the blooms have faded. These he will plant up in the grounds of his home at “Linmill”. Please bring them to church with you and leave them on the pew in the porch. Thank you.
Memory Lane
Our Dementia Support Group will meet in the hall on Wednesday 15 April from 1 pm until 3 pm. In addition to a lovely afternoon tea there will be some surprise musical entertainment.
Away Giving Campaign Suggestions for 2026
In the New Year we will be supporting the following Away Giving Campaigns: Bishop’s Lent Appeal, Water Aid, Social Bite and The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Prayer Tree
We now have a prayer tree in the church hall. If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree. Your prayer will be prayed for in church.
Private Prayer
When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
