Away Giving

As Sunday 30 June is the last Sunday of the month all our giving in the open plate will be ringfenced for our current Away Giving Campaign in support of CHAS. Please come armed with some extra cash on Sunday and give as generously as you possibly can. Thank you in advance.

Handfasting Ceremony

Sandra Pringle and her partner Phyl will be having a Handfasting Ceremony on Monday 1 July at 2 pm at The Greedy Grazer in the Clyde Valley near to Garrion Bridge. Any friends who would like to attend the ceremony will be made most welcome.

Choir Practice

Choir Practices are suspended for the time being.

Memory Lane Coffee Morning

Our coffee morning to raise funds for Memory Lane was a huge success. The princely sum of £1462.42 was raised. A massive thank you to everyone who baked, donated, served, helped out and attended on the day. A great time was had by all.

Braehead House

There will be an Open Day at Braehead House (Crossford Brae) on Saturday 29 June from 12 noon until 4 pm. Access to the beautiful walled garden and wildflower labyrinth. Teas, coffeess, cakes, music, crafts and jam will be on offer too. All welcome.

Autumn Ladies

The Autumn Ladies Group will now take a break for the summer. Activities will resume on 11 September.

Brunch & Browse

Please pick up a flyer from the table at the back of the church for our new Brunch & Browse initiative. If you intend to come along to the next meeting on Thursday 11 July (12 noon until 1.15), please add your name to the sign up sheet next to the flyers so that the organisers know how many to cater for.

Away Giving

In the year ahead the remaining recipients of our Away Giving will be: CHAS, Clydesdale Foodbank and Neuroendocrine Research.

Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
