Memory Lane
Our Dementia Support Group will have its fortnightly meeting on Wednesday from 1 pm until 3 pm. In addition to lashings of tea and coffee and cake stands groaning with beautiful home baking there will also be a sing song, the theme of which will be “war songs”, as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the D Day Landings on the shores of Normandy, France.
Memory Lane Coffee Morning
To raise funds to maintain their excellent work in our community the Memory Lane team will be holding a coffee morning in the church hall on Saturday 22 June from 10 am until 12 noon. Spread the word. All welcome!
Brunch & Browse
Please pick up a flyer from the table at the back of the church for our new Brunch & Browse initiative. If you intend to come along to the next meeting on Thursday 13 June (12 noon until 1.15), please add your name to the sign up sheet next to the flyers so that the organisers know how many to cater for.
Away Giving
In the year ahead the remaining recipients of our Away Giving will be: CHAS, Clydesdale Foodbank and Neuroendocrine Research.
Prayer
When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
