Blue Triangle Soup Kitchen
This is an exciting new initiative being spearheaded by Rev Jackie, Rev Liz and Vestry Member Ed Trevillion. Each Monday (beginning Monday 28 April) from 12 until 1 pm they will serve soup, a roll and a cup of tea/coffee to the homeless in The Blue Triangle facility in The Wide Close. They would be delighted to receive donations of soup for this venture. A sheet has been left on the table at the back of the church for interested parties to write down what they would like to contribute and when. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
Memory Lane
Our Dementia Support Group will meet in the hall this coming Wednesday from 1 pm until 3 pm. This week our entertainment will be provided by good friends “The Ukulele Ladies”!
Grant Fund Researchers
Our Vestry is looking for volunteers from the congregation to join Ed Trevillion in searching for grant funds to enable us to reach Provincial Deadlines on “Net Zero”. If you would like to be on this sub committee of the Vestry, please speak to the Rector or to Ed Trevillion. Both will be delighted to hear from you.
