Refuweegies
This being the last Sunday of the month all our giving in the open plate will be ringfenced for this year’s very worthy Bishop’s Lenten Appeal in support of Refuweegies, which does marvellous work in Glasgow with refugees. Please give as generously as you possibly can.
Christian Aid Lent Lunches
After a long gap without them, the very popular Lent Lunches are back on the ecumenical map in Lanark. Day – Mondays. Time – 12 noon until 2 pm. The final three Mondays will in St Nicholas Church Hall in the Castlegate. If anyone would like to contribute soup for the lunches, please speak to our Curate Jackie. Minimum donation for a plate of soup, a roll with either cheese or ham and a beverage is £3.
Memory Lane
Our Dementia Support Group will meet in the church hall on Wednesday from 1 pm until 3 pm. This week, in addition to a sumptuous feast of baking and lashings of tea and coffee, there will be armchair yoga and a sing song in celebration of Spring.
Daylight Bible Reading Booklets
If you would like to receive the next edition of the booklet, please add your name to the sheet on the table at the back of the church. If you would to take out a yearly subscription, speak to Jackie about it and she will arrange.
Brunch & Browse
Our food, fellowship and formation group will meet on Thursday in the hall from 12 noon until 1.15 to continue their study on a Lenten theme. If you intend to attend, please add your name to the sign up sheet at the back of the church for catering purposes.
Away Giving
We are currently collecting money for the Bishop’s Lent Appeal in support of Refuweegies. The remaining three charities that we will support with our Away Giving in the course of the year are: Mary’s Meals, Street Level in Carluke and The Glasgow City Mission. All very worthy causes. Please give as generously as you can to help them to continue in their valuable work.

Apres Service Refreshments
We are looking for new recruits to make teas and coffees after the Sung Eucharist on Sundays. If you would like to get involved, please speak to Morag Hobbs, who will be happy to add your name to the rota.
Prayer Tree
We now have a prayer tree in the church hall. If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree. Your prayer will be prayed for in church.

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
