Broth & Blether

Our new initiative at The Blue Triangle homeless unit in The Wide Close is in need of soup suppliers!  Have a look at the sheet at the back of the church and make a soup donation to this very worthy cause. If any of you have unused/unwanted crockery, cutlery, sauce pans, towels, sheets and pillowcases (for a single bed) lying around the house, please consider donating them to our Blue Triangle venture, so that we can create starter packs for the young residents moving into first tenancies.  We do not want you to go to any expense for this; just pass on stuff that you do not use and won’t miss from the house.  Please leave whatever you bring in the break out room in the church hall.

Table Top Sale

Saturday 29 November, 10 am until 2 pm, Christ Church Hall.  Why not have a clear out for Christmas and create your own stall.  Tables are £10 each.  All proceeds will go to Broth & Blether.  If you would like a table, please sign the sheet on the table at the back of the church.  Also, take a few flyers and give them to anyone you think might like to join us.

Prayer Tree

We now have a prayer tree in the church hall.  If you would like someone or something to be prayed for, please write your petition on the hearts provided and place it on the tree.  Your prayer will be prayed for in church.

Prayer

When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.
