This is a booklet which provides a four monthly daily Bible readings and comments.&nbsp; The price of the booklet depends on how many people would like to subscribe. The more who wish to participate, the greater the discount.&nbsp; If you are interested Jackie has left a copy for you look at and a sheet for you to sign at the back of the church.&nbsp; Alternatively, have a chat with Jackie over coffee and she will give you all the information you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choir Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday, 6 pm, in the church.&nbsp; New members always welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">St Andrew\u2019s Hospice Shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>St Andrews hospice Shop will be reopening in Lanark, hopefully at the start of November.&nbsp; They are currently looking for volunteers from Monday to Saturday. The shifts are from 10 to 1 and 1 to 4pm.&nbsp; If you would like to consider volunteering, please contact Siobhan Keenan on 01236 766951&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Away Giving Recipients 2023 \u2013 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to everyone who put forward possible recipients for our Away Giving this year.&nbsp; Of the 8 recommendations received the following three were agreed:&nbsp; The Maggie Centre, The Brain Tumour Charity and Stanmore House and School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prayer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When she is with us on Sundays The Revd Liz Clelland will offer pastoral prayer in the Memorial Chapel after the Sung Eucharist to individuals who would like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Music In Lanark<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Music In Lanark\u2019s next concert will be on Saturday 25 November at 19.45 in Christ Church.&nbsp; It will feature \u201cLongway Bluegrass Band\u201d, one of the UK\u2019s top bluegrass bands.&nbsp; Tickets can be purchased at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Provincial Online Services\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are unable to attend church but would like to engage in some kind of worship, click on the link below for access to the Provincial Online Service which is highlighted on the right-hand side of the \u201cHome\u201d page<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scotland.anglican.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.scotland.anglican.org<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Church Hall\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you hear of anyone who is looking for a hall to conduct a group or activity please direct them to me (Tel: 01555 663065\u2026 Email:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:thecanteringcanon@outlook.com\">thecanteringcanon@outlook.com<\/a>).
